This book presents a list of strains from which present day breeds have developed and includes much information of Bedouin customs and methods of breeding. This book was originally published in 1894 , this is the 1961 edition by Borden Publication, although someone pasted a J.A. Allen & Company label over Borden Publishing I don’t know why, sometimes people do weird things.  Includes color plates, art, photos and the fold out map. 411 pages. Large hard cover book in very good condition, staining on closed lead edge of pages, see photo, some shelf wear, rounded corners, gift inscription on front free end page, no dust jacket
