It gives the pertinent facts, rules of the game for both indoor and outdoor, details and cost (in 1949 ) of equipment, the most desirable traits of polo ponies and other bits of information that will add to the enjoyment of the game. 

Paul Brown was unquestionably one of the most noted equine artist in America and here are some of his most lively sketches. He illustrates the various strokes, mallet work, fouls and penalty shots, famous plays and teamwork and his sketches illustrate the speed and vigor that make polo a thrilling sport.

Hard cover book clean and unmarked, although showing some ageing in the gutters otherwise in very good condition for a book over 70 years old!
