Upton explores the breeds origins and development from before the time of King Solomen to the time of the Prophet Mohammed. He identifies the distinguishing features and characteristics of the breed and describes the many strains and sub-strains. He goes on to describe the growth of interest of the Arabian horses around the world. Although the heart of this book is the amazing collections of photos of Arabian horses around the world there is also numerous art reproductions as well as some historic photographs.
