story of Rambling Willie the bay pacing gelding was owned by Vivian Farrington
and trained and driven by Bob Farrington. Rambling Willie overcome many injuries
and set backs to go on to set records and be one of the winningest horses of
all time. Rambling Willie is full of drama and love and proof of the power of human devotion. Born in 1970 and retired in 1983, he was then moved to The
Kentucky Horse Park where he was part of the Hall of Champions. He was euthanized due to lamination in 1995 and
is buried at the park. At the time this book was written Willie was still racing.
